Chacarera is a musical rhythm belonging to Argentine folk music. This rhythm can be written in both 3/4 and 6/8. The basic rhythmic cell arises from the superimposition of these two time signatures.

The traditional instrumentation is made up by guitars, legüero bass drum (bombo legüero) and eventually violin, piano or bandoneon. In this case I added percussive elements from other regions such as congas, shakers and claps.

In this track the formal structure of the chacarera is not respected, but there are 10 minutes of continuous rhythm with variations, specifically designed to practice or play with the instrument of your choice.
